The Future of 3dnoob.com?
Dear fellow Blender lover,
Several months ago I started 3dnoob to share some of the knowledge I had amassed through my years of experience and trial and error. After putting up some content I let this little website sit here for a while, getting good traffic from Google and Yahoo.
My question to you is: what should I do now? I think this website has some great potential, but too few updates and activity. What do you want to know about concerning Blender?
If anyone wants to share their knowledge with the Blender community, feel free to contact me so I can publish your tutorial.
So what do you guys, the blenderheads, want to see in the future? Please post your comments and ideas in the comments section of this page.
Thanks for reading,
-Darek (founder of 3dnoob)
P.S. On a sidenote, the cartoon video tutorial was featured on Blendernation, which was pretty cool!
hi, i love the site
i was wondering if you could make a video tutorial of how to make 2d eyes on a 3d mesh for animation as is explained at maleficos site
http://www.malefico3d.org/blog-en/?p=21
i dont understand how he does it, its a bit to complex for my understanding of blender and ipo curves
a walkthrough would be awesome because its a neat technique and seems relatively simple
keep on the good work, please contact me if you ever do this video tutorial in the future i woud love to make tutorials with you guys but still refining my skills
ok thanks for the web site, very helpful
In the style of some textbooks out there, I would love to see "Blender for 3DSmax Users" or "Blender for Maya Users" to make the switch smoother. Love the site, keep up the good work.
hey just joined, i can see a futur for this site ( i can see you allready have a good place on google ), a good thing would be a forum so people can post there blender art and videos, and futur projects etc, a forum is a crutiel thing so that us guys ( the blender heads) can show each other our work.( i used to go on a website called gametrailers.com and on the forum depending on how many posts you did the higher level you would be, i always thought it was a nice touch to the forum)
Another thing would be a proper homepage, with nice pictures done with blender, you could even put the 3dnoob comunity best renders on the home page ( keep the design of the web site its nice, more than 2 coulers on a site looks ugly, you got it spot on with white and blue) you could probably keep people uptodate with the new blender features etc.
i hpoe i didn't bombard you with ideas, but i'm just wanting to see this site up and running
best regards Rex
